"Compassion is The Greatest Form of Love Humans Have to offfer"

Rachel Joy Scott was the first victim of the Columbine High School shooting in 1999. She most certainly wasn't your average 17 year old. She was one of kind, and wanted to have an impact on peoples lives. She wanted to touch peoples hearts, and wanted to make a change in the world. After her death, her parents discovered an essay she had written couple of days before her death called "My Ethics, My Codes of Life". In the essay she wrote " I have this theory that if one person can go out of their way to show compassion then it will start a chain reaction of the same". Another quote that stood out to me was "People will never know how far a little kindness can go", and that is absolutely true. If you hold the door for someone, or even lend somebody a dollar when they need it the most, that person just might feel motivated to do the same for somebody else, creating a chain reaction. It doesn't even have to be somebody you know, it can be can a total STRANGER. An organization called "Rachel's Challenge" has been formed.Spokes people go to High Schools all over the United States giving presentations about who Rachel Scott was, and explaining what "Rachel's Challenge" is exactly. I was fortune enough to go to this assembly as well as the rest of my school. It was the most touching assembly, hands down. Rachel has changed the way I look at people, as well as my perspective of Life. I will write my goals down on a piece of paper and save it, I will look for the best in people, I will never take people for granted, because life is unexpected. And I will be kind and help people when they need it the most, and hopefully start a chain reaction.
 Why not do the same?!?!

R.I.P Rachel, as well as the other 12 people who were killed in the Columbine High School Shooting.<3

The best nail products

These are the products that I use ALL THE TIME! I truly love them and I love my nails, I have no problem growing them.

This is one of those 4 sided things that say File, Buff, Smooth and Shine.  I only paid $1.00 for this! They have tons of these things at Job Lot and they really work great.  My favorite side to use if I'm in a hurry is the Shine side because it really makes my nailpolish stay on all week long without a single chip!

Revlon Post Trauma Nail Treatment I got this at Target and it really fills in all of the ridges and cracks and anything your nails have suffered through all week long.  I use this instead of a base coat ever since I bought it.

These are my most used nail polishes!  When in doubt I always choose one of these lovely colors :)

Left to Right

Sally Hansen-Black Patent, Sally Hansen-Crushed, Chanel-Rouge De Nuit, Sinful Colors-Hottie, Delias-Purple Mint, Revlon-Passion Punch Shimmer, Sally Hansen-Grape Expectation, Delias-Grassy Knoll

This is just my favorite Nail Polish Removed simply because it smells a little bit less than all of the others I've tried and it's cheap ofcourse.

This Pedicure Kit is what I always go to when my feet need a little bit of extra attention.  You can get these at Kohl's and they also have a Manicure Kit which I also have but was a big disappointment so don't bother gettting that one.  It comes with a Pumice rock, Toe nail clippers, 2 nail files, 2 nail polishes, heel cream, foot cream, and toe separators! The heel & foot lotions work great and my favorite thing is the Pumice rock.  Definitely worth the money, its around $12.00

Spring 2010

My favorite SPRING 2010 Fashion Trends

Miliatry Is really in right now, you see all the celebs such as Kim Kardashian, Beyonce, Rihanna etc . wearing military inspired outtfits, If you're not comfortable with the camouflage and all, I understand, you can start of slow by wearing the Army green and maybe some military boots with small details. TRY: Military Jacket paired with leggins/shorts with some killer heels
Stripes, Florals, Graphic prints and abstract shapes are without a doubt in this spring.  I am looking for a skirt with some crazy pattern myself, they're fun and chic this spring. So be daring and  purchase some skirts or dresses with crazy bold patterns, you'll be sure to stand out from the crowd!

The "Boyfriend" look is still in ladies! Everything from boyfriend blazers(my fav!) to boyfriend jeans. Boyfriend jeans are suppose to look baggy they're usually rolled up and can be worn with heels to add a little feminine touch, but can also be worn with just about anything! You can even pair a boyfriend blazer with boyfriend jeans like shown in the picture on the picture above, so comforable and effortless yet chic!

Don't forget chunky Jewerly, But do NOT over do it. You can add a chunky necklace with a pretty top and a blazer, or even a dress and BAM! can you say statement pieces!?
Can you guess whats also in this spring?! Yep, you guessed right, ankle socks with heels ! REALLY?  Yes!, who woulda' ever thought?! All the stars are adding this daring schoolgirl twist to their looks, I personally love the trend, but I don't think this trend will last long.
This is my favorite! ROMPERS! I am romper crazyy. Even though I only own like 3 :(  But that will change soon! LOL! But seriously, Rompers are everywhere this spring. They are soo easy to wear, and they keep you cool during those hot summer days! You can find rompers just about anywhere today, Forever21 has Gorgeoouuss ones, and they're like $20 you guys.
Cheap and Chic = HAPPYNESS

My All time favs!

I'm a lipstick gal, I have so many and prefer lipsticks over glosses any day so first thing is a favorite for so many people and ofcourse its MAC's Viva Glam V Lipstick. Absolutely love this lipstick its an amazing color that you don't have to think twice about putting on and as you can see I have practically none left! Thank god I have a back up! :)

My Favorite blushes are all from this Estee Lauder Blush Quad, I got this around Christmas time so its probably not available anymore but I'm sure they have similar colors, they're called: (from top left to bottom right) Petal, Nectar, Transparent, and Pink Kiss.

This is a great concealer for people with some acne! It's the Revlon Color Stay Blemish Concealer and mine is in light/medium.  This covers all of my acne scars very nicely and I don't feel worried my acne is going to get bigger if i try and and layer on tons of this concealer which is what I'm sure everyone does when they have a huge pimple!

The Covergirl powders are amazing! I use this every single day and I've probably gone through atleast 4 of these bad boys. I always put this on top of my concealer or foundation if I'm wearing any that day and it gives my oily skinned face a really nice matte look.

The best bronzer EVER. I love clinique and their makeup, this is their bronzer in "touch of bronze" and that's exactly what it does it adds just a beautiful subtle glow that you can build up if you want, and this would work on any skin tone because you can make it as light as can be and change it to extremely dark for nighttime. It comes with a little brush but I use an angles brush for this.

My favorite tinted lip balm, its the sugar rose from Sephora and it looks scary dark pink! but its as light as can be when you put it on and it smells amazing and moisturizes all day long, I find myself constantly putting this on just so I can smell it!

My favorite liners, for Black i love the mac smolder eye kohl, it goes on the waterline extremely smoothly and stays put. For Blue I love the clinique eye shadeing pencil in Charcoal Blue. Great everyday products.

I use these 2 brushes to do everything! The mini Kabuki is from CVS its an essence of beauty brush and I use it to buff my covergirl powder in. The angled brush is from ELF and it was only $1 from target! I use it for my bronzer and the other brush is from Lancome I use it for powder blush.

Outfit Of The Day

I love this outfit:) It can be dressed down and dressed up by switching the shoes.
Ofcourse I didn't wear the booties to school because that would just be too much, instead I wore the gladiators.

Gladiators : Forever21
Shorts: Old Navy
Black Racerback tank: Forever21
Black Blazer: Macy's by BCX
Black Booties: Macy's
Ring: Forever21
Bangles: Charlotte Russe

The shorts are not high waisted but I decided to pull them up to my waist, just because they look better worn that way and I tucked in my black racerbank tank.Of Course because of the whole "school dress code" I had to wear something on top, so  I paired it with my new favorite blazer from Macy's by BCX and wore my gray gladiatos which I purchased at Forever 21 for about $7.50 :)

Phoebe Prince

I know this isn't Makeup/Fashion related but I just had to vent. How heartless were those nine teenagers?! Phoebe Prince was a poor innocent girl, defenseless at the time. She had just moved to South Hadley Massachusetts from Ireland. In the month of September she started talking to the "big shot" football player Sean Mulveyhill. These other cheerleader b*tches got jealous, and told her "off". Phoebe apologized but to these animals that was not enough. From that point on they started to harass Phoebe non-stop. They would call her nasty names such as "Irish Whore", and throw stuff at her and embarrass her in front of her peers. Not only did they bully her in school, but they bullied her through Facebook, text messages etc. Phoebe at the time had no close friends to support her. Her mother went up to the school two times explaining her daughter was being bullied for absolutely no reason, and school administration just told Phoebe's mother that this was normal, and the bullies would stop soon.Faculty from South Hadley High School saw Phoebe getting bullied on a day to day basis and thought nothing of it, they just thought it was normal due to the fact that they "See it so much".One day January 15, Phoebe just couldn't take it anymore and decided the only way to escape these cold hearted "people" was to kill herself. I personally blame school administration for not stepping up before this tragedy took place, if they saw it and honestly cared about their students they should have done something immediately! Bullying is not something you should ignore. The mother of one of the Bullies Shannon told the media that this is "normal" because "it's high schools" "this is what teenagers do". Last time I checked bullying someone to the point where they kill themselves is NOT normal sweetie. If thats considered normal now a days, then I don't know what the world has come to. But i could see why her daughter is sucha fucked up bitch, look at what the person that raised her is saying. These Nine Teenagers are convicted of bodily harm and a bunch of other things. Thats bullcrap, they should be convicted of Murder! Because that's what they did, they murdered Phoebe Prince. And do you know whats even more fucked up ? These nine teenagers still go to school and they're probably living like as if nothing happened, as if they didn't kill a young innocent girl. The school should expell these bitches ASAP! They belong in prison for life. School faculty that were also aware of the bullying and kept quite should lose their jobs, thats just my personal opinion. This just goes to show, schools don't give a sh*t about their students.I wish nothing good in these 9 teenagers lives, What goes around comes around, Karma will come back for SURE and bite these cunts right in the ass. :)
R.I.P Phoebe Prince <3
